Kyocera 7135
This new Palm OS / Cel Phone Combo is rumored to be coming out any day on the Verizon network.
Palm OS, MP3 player, Analog capability, GPS etc. Unlike the new phones coming from Nokia and Sony Ericsson it doesn’t have bluetooth or a built in digital camera, but a Palm device that does analog and digital celular is a huge plus for use in the U.S.

Sports Tech
Shadowing the Perfect Golf Swing. Golfers looking to improve their swing can step into a new teaching aid that superimposes a virtual pro over their live image to show them where to alter their technique. By Louise Knapp. [Wired News]
The company in the article above has developed some cool coaching technology for Golf. We use video software from a company called Dartfish that works on a similar principle. It allows us to superimpose the image of one rider over the other. It also allows us to put together what are called Stromotions (see the Stromotion photo of Anton from last winter).

New Cel Phones

These are the cool new cel phones. Both of them, not yet released, but coming in about 4 months. The Nokia 3650 and the Sony/Ericsson P800. They have always on internet connections, built in cameras, polyphonic ring tones, extensive contact managers, and calendars. They are Bluetooth enabled for close range connections to things like your laptop or printers and they run Java programs. Cool nerd toys.
