Chevy Fuel School
Steve Fisher, Nate Holland, Lindsey Jacobellis and I headed to Detroit Rock City for a visit with our sponsor Chevy.
We had a great time and learned about some cool stuff Chevy is doing.

I flew through Denver and met up with Steve Fisher. Ellery Hollingsworth came and visited with us
as she had just flown back to Colorado from Thanksgiving with her family in Italy.
Bridget Wanczyk from Chevy took us to a Detroit Redwings Hockey game, which was really fun.
The Red Wings were playing the Calgary Flames. Detroit crushed 5 to 3 and there was even a fight.
We got to meet the legendary Steve Yzerman who was really nice, and likes to spend time on snow,
now that he doesn’t have to spend so much time on the ice.
Chevy’s super cool Bridget Wanczyk and the Boys.
Oh, look who the street is named after.
Learning about fuel solutions 29th floor GM building.
Nate studiously taking notes while Steve and Lindsey goof off in class
Lindsey taking us for a drive in the new Tahoe Hybrid.
Waiting their turn to drive.
This brings tears to my eyes, even if it is 4 months after the fact. Not only did you get to go to the Joe and watch the wings, you got to meet the HEART of the the wings. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? Steve Yzerman is the greatest human athlete to ever walk this earth. The “dead things”, as they were called in 83, were rough, and then came the kid, who became, the man, who became the captain. It parallels the Peter Foley story. Next trip to rock city, let me know, I can get my dad to give a tour, not of the capital, but of the establishments near the joe, starting with the suites up top, the people in the suites wanted to meet you guys. Since you were just in chevy’s, we should branch out, City of Detroit, GE, Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, the works. I will be back in June for the Stanley Cup finals.
